The highlight of Scout camp was on Wednesday night when we canoed across the lake (not quite 3 1/2 miles) through the narrows, and to the far end of the lake. We made some makeshift shelters and camped overnight. After the mosquitoes got their fill, we packed back up in the canoes and went back to camp.
An overnight camping trip in the midst of camping is a first for me. It seemed odd to pack up my sleeping bag to go camping while camping. It seemed even odder to return from camping only to still be camping.
There's a brain bender
This is probably my favorite picture of the week. No tilt-shift lens used, but it seems kind of miniature to me.
The next morning was a bit on the cool side.
