So we enjoyed a little chat in the cultural hall and then retired to the bowery for a fancy lunch. I'm pretty sure that everyone had a pretty good time.
Owen chased around with the kids

Xander showed off his fancy hat

Thomas enjoyed cake

And the boys watched Adam play Nintendo

Grandpa told a joke

Katie thought it was funny

Mary Kate & Anna thought it was funny

Anna was only mildly amused

Lilli had a good laugh

And still the boys just kept watching Adam play Nintendo

Becca entertained Thomas

And Robert told a few amusing anecdotes of his own

Jimmy tried to tell some jokes, but he just made Sarah angry

Then he had to bus tables the rest of the night

Scott told Mary that Jimmy was clearing tables, and Mary thought that was pretty funny too

Heather thought Jimmy got just what he deserved

Opa was just happy to have such a great dad

And even then the boys still watched Adam playing

Steven wondered what he had missed and where all the cake went

I don't know buddy - I just don't know
Who has a projector!? Apparently Krissy Rabbit has one at her house. I must have left it up there when I decided to take Dad's and watch slides with all my friends in high school. We were a wild bunch I tell ya. Dad will tell you all about it.
ReplyDelete:)
BTW--Fun pictures of all those Dixons!!!
Scott, you take the most wonderful pictures! Have I ever told you how glad I am that Mary married you. I've always told her she was clever to do that. You are fantastic. Thanks for helping us to remember those good times, (and only publishing the flattering pictures.)
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures of the three little boys: Owen, Xander, and Tommy. It'll be fun when they are older and will buddy around together at the family parties.
ReplyDeleteTommy likes cake.
I sent the pictures to Grandpa Dixon. He really liked them. He said 'we really do have a good looking family, don't we?" And I can't help but agree with him.
ReplyDeletePlaying Nintendo is fun, but a (fun)waste of time. Watching people play Nintendo.........well that's just taking it to a whole new level.
ReplyDeleteNot to say that I'm not guilty of it. I played a Wii for the first time and I've been drooling over them ever since.
That picture of Tommy is classic! Luv it! Man he is cute!
ReplyDeleteI say video games ought to be a spectator sport. The only thing better than playing video games-- WATCHING them!!! They ought to make those tiny screens a little more spectator friendly though.
