Ellie

Kids are so funny. Every mom has a thousand stories of cute things their kids say and do, and I'm no exception. Here are a couple from Ellie (5 years):

(In the car, listening to an RC Willey ad on the radio)
Ellie: MOM! They said free hot dogs on Saturday! We should go there!
Me: Oh, but you don't eat hot dogs.
Ellie: But they're FREE!! FREE FOOD!!



 


And my favorite from when she was four:
(Eating cheerios at the breakfast table, obviously deep in thought)
Ellie: Mom, does gravy come from werewolves?

Huh?!?!?!?

    I'm trying not to imagine what she thought you'd do to a werewolf to get gravy from it. That's funny!

    I have to say I'm with her on the free food.

    Ellie is so cute in that picture. I understand completely why she would get gravy from werewolves. It all has to do with the flying monkeys!
