Pomegranate

When I lived in Caruaru Brazil, we had a Pomegranate tree in our backyard. One of the many wonderful things about Brazil is the multiple growing seasons throughout the year. It seemed like any time you wanted a pomegranate, there were more than enough to go around.

So when Mary and I saw a pomegranate in the grocery store with a handy little guide on how to get them open, I thought it would be neat to get one.

We were split down the middle on who liked it and didn't (mostly along generational lines), but it only cost $1.50 for a great activity that kept us all occupied while mom finished up dinner after church.
